Legal Assistant

Watchmaker Injury Law is seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our legal team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the legal department.

Responsibilities:

– Assist in legal drafting, including preparing and formatting legal documents
– Organize and maintain legal files and documents
– Conduct legal research and compile information for cases
– Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and depositions
– Interview clients and witnesses to gather case information
– Assist with project management tasks related to legal matters
– Utilize iManage or similar software for document management
– Perform clerical duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and handling correspondence

Experience:

– Proven experience in legal administrative support or related field
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Proficient in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
– Ability to conduct legal research effectively
– Familiarity with project management principles in a legal setting
– Experience with iManage or other document management software is a plus
